Weddings
Chair cover & sash hire
Our stretch fitted covers are available in ivory, white or black, with a choice of sash colours in satin, organza, taffeta and lace you can transform a room to match your colour scheme.
We always recommend meeting at the venue if we haven’t been there before, as its good to see how the colours will work in the room, sometimes what you think might look good can change once you see the set up, and alternatives can be considered.
We also offer a cover only, sash only and DIY option for you
Table linen hire
A venue like a village hall or marquee is lovely for a wedding but you will need table linen. We can supply white round and rectangle table cloths to fit 6ft trestle, 5ft and 6ft round tables, & some small table cloths for the cake table. White linen napkins add a special touch instead of paper ones, and for a splash of colour, our table runners look good with your colour theme.
We offer a setup or DIY option for you
Lighting & Lanterns
Lighting can add a special touch to a wedding in a marquee or village hall, but it can also look lovely for a garden wedding. We have bright white and soft white lighting on mains or battery operated for ease. Add the extra touch with our paper lanterns in a variety of colours or our free standing tall lanterns to spot around the room.
Starlight backdrop
When you have a plain wall to sit in front for your top table or want something a little different for photos, then how about a lovely starlight backdrop. We can set it up behind the top table, a small sweetheart table, or place it in a corner for a fun photo opportunity. Add a little extra to it with trailing flowers, uplighters or sashes in your chosen colour to tie the drapes.
All the little extras
Now you have your venue, with maybe a package to include chair covers or you're hiring them yourself. It's time to look at all the little extras you may want to finish off the room.
Lets talk DIY
When booking a venue which includes chair covers it is always a good idea to visit the venue to see the room dressed for a wedding & help you visualise how it will look on your day.

Thinking of going DIY with your covers to save on cost then please consider the following:-
-
How the room will look for your photos, every sash we tie is the same height and size, all our covers are clean with no holes or marks on them.
-
Make sure you have friends/family available to help you dress the room the day/evening before the wedding.
-
Confirm with the venue beforehand that you can setup the day before and they give you plenty of time to do this, not all venues can guarantee the room will be ready if they have a function the night before.
-

We are happy to set the room up with your chair covers and sashes for you from only £30 depending on how many covers you have and the location. The last think you want leading up to your big day is worry over dressing the reception!
MY 7 TOP TIPS
Tip 1- Colours
Check the colours in the room
You want your colours to stand out, not get lost or clash with the curtains/carpets in the room.
Think of colours that will compliment the venue
Tip 5 - Visit
It's always a good idea to visit your venue when it has been dressed for a wedding. Look at all the little details the couple have added, & if you're having the venues chair covers & sashes, you can see how they will look on your wedding day
Tip 2 - Table setting
Think of everything that needs to be on the table. You don't want it cluttered with too many items or look bare with too smal or not enough. Maybe practise setting out a table, or ask the venue to see a wedding setup
Tip 6 - Which venue
There are lots of options to choose from. Are you looking for the rustic feel from a barn, or perhaps you like the neutral option of a marquee. When you have guests travelling far, then consider a hotel or a venue close to a hotel. Village halls are perfect for the DIY option
Tip 3 - Centrepieces
Always consider the ceiling height in the room. Is the ceiling too low for very large items or will something low to the table be lost in a room with a high ceiling.
Also think about your guests, you want to be able to see them & not be distracted by big objects on the table.
Tip 7 - Filling space
When choosing a venue with a large space, you might think draping & backdrops are what you need. Lighting lanterns and balloons can be a cheaper option and draw the eye away from the large space of a hall or hotel with a vaulted ceiling
Tip 4 - Desings
When choosing a pretty ornate room you want to try and keep in with the decor. Bunting, lighting & lanterns are perfect for barns or marquees where as glassware and candelabras suit hotels or historic venues. Sometimes less is more so consider what is already in the room
